About

Living in Ojai, California with my three young children and husband, nestled under the Topa Topa Mountain Range, I left Los Angeles and, before that, New York, to raise my kids with a deeper connection to nature. Although having grown in up in San Francisco and then beginning my career in New York, both coasts and both urban lifestyles have deeply influenced my work and career.

After studying Art History Vassar College I worked under the Creative Director of Kate Spade where I developed a love of image creation. Shortly thereafter, I began my sixteen plus years in the magazine industry, first as an Assistant to the Editor in Chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, and then under Sittings Editor, Phyllis Posnick. During those years I saw the inner workings of the magazine. Titled with Vogue’s West Coast Fashion Editor, I eventually moved back to California in 2007 and was assigned to style celebrity portraits for the magazine. I am now a Contributing Editor to Vogue and Architectural Digest, and take on various other commercial Interior and Styling projects.
